A key member of the Australian Kelpies’ defensive unit, Josh has earned recognition as a formidable defensive athlete through his speed, athleticism, and relentless ability to shut down opposing attacking option across the court.
While Josh has demonstrated versatility at the state level, even stepping into an attacking goal-shooting role, it is in the defensive end where he has truly made his mark on the international stage.
Renowned for his game sense and read of play, Josh consistently disrupts opponents, grinding them down and suffocating any opportunity for incoming feeds. A vital strength for the Kelpies’ defensive line.
Josh has been named in the Men’s Netballer of the Year list for 2025 by Netball Scoop, grabbing equal second place with fellow circle defender, Alastair Punshon.
